Trial and error of image 3

Image 3 underwent the most change in the trial process and changed a lot with each practice. In the first trial (figure 1) the blend of the paint wasn’t smooth enough and the eyes were drawn on too large. For trial two (figure 2) the changes were made to the eyes and also to the leaves coming out of the mouth. Trial two looked more like the reference photo (figure 3), but it was quite difficult to achieve as I was creating the look on myself instead of a model. This made adding finer details harder and meant the features were drawn on at the wrong angle. Working on someone else is a lot easier as you are directly in front of the person you are applying makeup on, so you can spot details that you can not see on yourself.
